The third day in China is over which means we take a look at all the matches from today's playoff action.
WESG 2016 World Finals moved on to the playoffs where four knockout games took place to determine the last four quarter-finalists.
TYLOO faced Signature in a best-of-three series and won their map pick Mirage 16-11. Signature's pick Overpass was the scene of a massacre as the Chinese won it 16-4. HaoWen "somebody" Xu topped the charts with a 43:23 score and a 1.40 rating in the series.
Snax had a good day
The Kazakhstanis of K23 was not a match for Virtus.pro who took the series 2-0 and advanced to the quarter-finals. Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski was deadly and averaged a 1.55 rating.
The trend of 2-0 results continued as Epsilon defeated the home team VG.CyberZen. Four players from Epsilon averaged ratings more than 1.25, putting on a marvelous team performance.
Space Soldiers became the last quarter-finalists after beating Selfless 2-0. Ismailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş was his usual self, posting a 108.6 ADR and a 1.45 rating.

Envy came up against TYLOO in the quarter-finals and after the teams split the first two maps, Dust2 was the decider map. Despite being down towards the latter stages of the map, Envy kept TYLOO off of match point and won the map 16-14. Kenny "kennyS" Schrub's 28:14 score and 1.54 rating on Dust2 was the deciding factor.
XANTARES & co. became Envy' semi-final opponents after the Turks beat iGame.com 2-1 in the quarter-finals. The last map in the series was Nuke and Space Soldiers took advantage of starting on the CT-side by winning the half 14-1. They closed out the match with ease, winning 16-1.

Although the other Turkish team DarkPassage pushed Virtus.pro to the edge, the Poles were victorious. Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas & company won Nuke 22-18 in overtime and came back from an early 2-10 deficit on Cobblestone to win it 16-11.
Kinguin were the more adamant side in the last quarter-final between them and Epsilon. The Polish team won the series 2-1 despite losing the first map Cache in overtime. Mikołaj "mouz" Karolewski's team will play their Polish brethren from Virtus.pro in the semi-finals.
